The Fields of Dreams Farm is a nurturing alternative provision that supports individuals with SEND, SEMH and for those who have also experienced trauma. Through our unique, bespoke, child-led programmes, we provide a safe space that welcomes all, no matter where they are in their journey.

Our Founder and Managing Director, Emi-Lu, birthed the idea of this peaceful haven whilst sat in a field with her dog and a horse. She was thinking about how to make a difference to the lives of people with SEND/SEMH, by giving them the space, time and the tools they need to flourish; in the way that works for them.

The Team we have assembled at Fields of Dreams bring personal experience and genuine understanding; so they truly know what you are going through and the challenges you face. We welcome all into our caring, safe environment, where the voices of the child are carefully listened to, as well as their carers. Our experience has shown us that the children who have grown and healed, go on to re-engage in education, or find the peace they need to live a more settled and content life.

Our Mission

Fields of Dreams was founded because we recognised a deep need to be a voice for students who struggle in mainstream education. Our mission is for every student who walks through our doors to feel heard, not judged; and to feel safe, happy, and part of a community where they truly belong.

We stand alongside parents who are trying to navigate a complex system and may not know where to turn. Sometimes that means simply being there to listen, other times it means offering guidance to help families access the support they deserve.

Fields of Dreams is a welcoming space for children and families, where they can share their frustrations openly with people who genuinely understand. All of our staff at have personal experience supporting children with SEND, so we can relate to every parent and student who comes to us. This shared understanding drives everything we do.

We are always looking for helping hands! From weeding in the Secret Garden to improving animal enclosures, our volunteers play a vital role in maintaining the calm, nurturing space we’ve built for both children and animals.
